Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1987 (R-serial). The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. Further, this example has a “gloss” dial, which was Rolex’s departure from their traditional “matte” dial. This Rolex GMT-Master is in excellent condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with original chamfers/beveled edges present. The dial is in great condition, with no wear or cracks, and still retaining its factory gloss lacquer. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, lightly aged to an off-white color. The “Pepsi” insert is in good condition, with no wear. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex Swiss 550/50 Jubilee, with no stretch, in excellent condition.
