Offered here is a 1970s Hamilton “Pan Europ” Chrono-Matic, with Calibre 11 automatic movement (made by Heuer). During the 1960s, interestingly enough, Hamilton, Heuer and Breitling joined forces to create an automatic chronograph movement. This secret partnership was even given a secret code name, “Project 99”, of which the Calibre 11 was born, and used in this very model.
This Hamilton Pan-Europ chronograph is in great vintage condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with its original sunburst finish. The dial is devoid of any major flaws, and is very attractive. Likewise, the original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, and aged to an attractive yellow color.
