Up for grabs is a popular example of an early Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, circa 1980s, in two-tone stainless steel and gold. This particular watch has day and date calendar complications, and has been nicknamed the “owl” due to the dial layout resembling an owl. These watches come in at a contemporary 36mm, and are powered by an automatic movement. The condition of this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is very good. The case has been polished in the past, but has sharp and thick bevels. The dial is in good condition, with some light wear to the registers. Likewise, the bracelet is in good condition with only minor stretch, and will fit an approximate 6.75″ wrist.
