Up for grabs is a beautiful example of an Omega Speedmaster, of the so-called “Pre-Moon” models, Reference 145.022-69, circa 1969, with a correct serial range of 29xxxxx, confirmed (and including) an Extract of the Archives from Omega, confirming production of the watch in June of 1970. This example is in great vintage condition. The case appears very lightly polished, with original beveled edges; there are no tool marks on the caseback. The dial is perfect, with no blemishes. The original tritium lume is still present in both hands and dial, aged to a nice yellow color on both dial and hands. The original crystal is still present, signed with the Omega logo in the center. The original and correct “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) bezel is in amazing shape, with no wear. The bracelet is a later No. 11 Omega bracelet with 633 endlinks, with virtually no wear/stretch.
