Up for grabs is a stunning and rare Longines “Legend” Diver, reference 7150-2, circa mid-1960s. Longines made these divers from the late 1950s through the 1960s, encompassing three different references, with the present example being at the end of production. The watch utilizes the popular EPSA super compressor case, which was used by a handful of manufacturers during this era. Longines outfitted these watches with a stunning gilt dial, accented with lumed markers and hands.
This Longines Legend Diver is in great vintage condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp. The remains very well-preserved and glossy, with no major damage or marks. Finally, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color. Please Note: the top crown was likely replaced in the past by Longines.
