Offered here is a very rare Breitling Unitime Chronograph, Ref. 1765, produced in the 1960s in limited quantities of about 800 pieces. These watches feature a 24-hour dial and bezel, and a very unique “big eye” register layout – the minute counter on the right hand side is larger than the other seconds and hour counters, giving the watch a very distinctive appearance.
This Breitling Unitime is in nice vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but with original bevels still present in the lugs. The dial is in good condition, with no major wear or damage. The original tritium lume is still entirely present in both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color, with some slight discoloration to the subsidiary plots at the top right corner.
