Offered here is an extremely rare Abercrombie & Fitch chronograph, produced by Heuer, circa 1940-1950s. Similar watches produced by A&F can be found, using the same hinged case, dial featuring breguet painted numerals and an inner-telemeter scale, and powered by Angelus’ Caliber 210 movement. However, it is very uncommon to find one in solid gold, as most that have been seen on the market are gold-filled or chrome-plated; this example is in 14kt Rose Gold.
This Abercrombie & Fitch chronograph is in great vintage condition. The case has never been polished, and has developed a gorgeous tarnish/patina on the sides of the case. The dial is good condition, with no visible flaws, and only light fading to the inner-telemeter scale, depending on the angle it is viewed at.
